This wonderful dayexcursion by 4x4 to Atlas Mountainsis designed especially for nature and landscapeslovers.

With an early departure from Marrakech at around 9:00 a.m., our first destination is the famous Lalla Takerkoust Lake, the main water reservoir that supplies the city of Marrakech. After a short morning break by the lake, we will continue our excursion at the famous mausoleum of Moulay Brahim, a Berber Saint very popular among the inhabitants of the region.

We will continue to the charming little village of Asni, surrounded by a stunning green valley and majestic mountains and hills.

We willrest for a few minutes at the edge of the river thatruns gently all along the valley, before continuing towards the famous valley of Ourika which remains the most popular destination in Atlas Mountains.

In Ourika Valley, you may choose to haveyour lunch with the locals by the river or visit a unique Berber guest house with its several panoramic terraces.

After lunch, we will have free time to hike in the valley, visit the craft shops or discover some female cooperatives producing Argan oil.

Return to Marrakech at the end of the day.
